Small Man, Huge words - Home School Task

This is another story I wrote during home school.

The scratching of pen and paper. The constant pen refill. Was all just a daily routine to please his master. His master, Clint Parry, a world famous author used Will as a book slave. Mr. Parry had no writing talent, zero vocabulary skills or even illistrator art skills. He was useless. Yet he got all the money from Will’s spectacular skills with writing, vocab. He even illistrated his own books. But of course Clint took all the glory.

After a good day of pure writing, Will was put in a small cage and fed soup. That was he ever got. In Will’s cage, there was a small house like area. There was a s small, working shower, a small  comfy bed, a small, humble kitchen and a small decorated living room. But Will still hated his life. He was about the size of a newborns middle finger, to give you an idea. When he was a baby he was barely visible. And living under a microscope was not fun.

Now Will was writing about a man who enslaved a poor man to do his chores without pay. But then, the man fids a beautiful woman and falls into a deep love. She gives him the money to move out of the rich mans hold. They lived together and happily ever after, until of course book two, where the rich man kidnaps the beautiful woman and will give her back if the poor man continues doing his chores, and he of course agrees. It has a sad ending, the man ending up killing himself.

Back to reality, Will would dream of escape. But what would he do? Get stepped on? He had to say and write. “Is my new bestseller ready yet?” Mr. Parry asked with a hint of envy and harshness in his voice. “I’m on to the final chapter, sir.” Will replied. “A new friend for you will be arriving soon. I have ordered you a tiny little dog, that will grow to be half the size of you. And yes, it is live.” Will was shocked. He had always longed for a friend. A dog would be perfect. “It should be arriving later today.”

Later on at Will’s supper, he got a special delivery. He opened the box that lay on his front door, and there it was. A beautiful tan puppy was inside. She was very fluffy with huge brown eyes. Will took her inside. Maybe this was his happily ever after?
