This is a re-writing of Kiwi Jingle Bells by The Polkadots. I hope you like it! I put heaps of ffort into learning the chorus of Jingle Bells by ear on the piano.

What an amazing Christmas song! I’m so impressed by how you’ve kept the original flow and found so many amazing rhyming words to carry out the tune. It’s a great song and you should be super proud of yourself.
What inspired your lyrics? Did you do it all yourself? Do you play piano or was someone in your household helping? If you do, how long have you been learning it?
Unfortunately, I don’t have access to your video but I’d love to see it! Are you able to place it directly in your blog post so I can?
I thought about my family and others Christmas traditions and put them into song form. I did do it all myself and I've ben learning it for a month. I don't do extreme piano, just songs that people post tutorials on.
I'll see what I can do about the video because it took around 30 takes.

Your video is up now and it is AWESOME!! You are very skilled at the piano and I very much enjoyed listening to your tune. How long have you been playing the piano?
To step this up even further would you consider also singing your Christmas jingle lyrics?
Kia ora Ailie, That was so amazing!!!!!!!!! I've never heard someone play jingle bells on the piano. Hope you can learn some more songs and you could post them on your blog. Ka Kite Oh and also Happy new year!
Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments. Positive - something I have done well. Thoughtful - a sentence or more that lets me know you that you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. Helpful - please give me some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about.

Hi Ailie,
DeleteWow, you're really good at the piano! I'm super impressed! If you learnt that from a tutorial, you're one smart cookie!
Can you play any other songs? What inspired you to start on piano?
Bye for now,
Shannon (SLJ)

Kia Ora Zana!
DeleteThank you for your very kind comment. I've been playing non-extreme piano for a month or two.
I don't really want to sing on my blog because I am very shy, even around my parents.
Ka kite
